Why are open questions not displayed fully in SPSS?

SPSS cuts off questions after 255 characters. Therefore, you have to use the exported CSV file.

Please proceed as follows:

Select “Results data” (all data) from the “Export” menu, select “CSV” as the format, and “Project, open questions only” as the export template.
You can then edit the resulting CSV file in a spreadsheet program (e.g. Excel).
