Does Tivian save survey respondents’ IP addresses together with survey results?

No. IP addresses are not saved in the standard configuration of EFS together with the survey results. This is only possible if special rights have been activated. These special rights make it possible to manually activate the saving of IP addresses on a project-by-project basis. The IP addresses are logged in a database for troubleshooting and IT-Security. This database log is only accessible to Tivian administrators. Theoretically, it is possible to link an IP address from the database log to an answer with considerable effort for a limited period of time. Due to the significant effort required, this is an additional chargeable service offered exclusively for prosecuting criminal offenses.
