If a question is used more often in your questionnaire, you can define a depot question. In progress of creating the questionnaire it's possible to reference it at all appropriate pages. 

Later on it is not necessary to edit each of the questions individually if you have to change these frequently recurring questions.

Please note that changes to the depot question directly affect all other reference questions which are based on it.


How to create a depot question


  • Switch to the Questionnaire editor and click on the "Container depot" menu item. 

  • Click on "+ New question" 

  • Enter a question title 

  • Select the question type which you planned to use repeatedly in your questionnaire. 

  • Confirm by clicking "Save" 

  • Edit your question by adding the question text and answer options 

  • Confirm by clicking "Save" 


How to use a question from the container depot in your questionnaire


  • Switch to the page where you want to reference the depot question 

  • Click on "+ New question" 

  • From the question type list choose question type "921 - Reference question" 

  • From the drop-down menu "Question component to be shown" select the question, which you want to be shown in your questionnaire 

  • There is the possiblity to change the question text. This text will be displayed combined with the answer options you defined in your container question 

Return to the Questionnaire editor. You will see the reference question on the assigned page.
